Richard R. Saunders Retires from SSHW After 40 Years of Practice

Richard R. Saunders has decided to retire from the practice of law effective May 6, 2016. Rick will be moving to Kilmarnock, Virginia, where he hopes to improve his already excellent golf game.

Rick has practiced law for over 40 years – all with SSHW and its predecessor firms. He joined the firm in 1976 and from that date until his retirement practiced in the areas of family law, real estate, personal injury, commercial law and construction litigation.

In all his years of practice, Rick has been a truly exceptional litigator and respected counselor. Rick’s outcome-driven approach to litigation and ultimate goal of managing the best possible outcomes for clients is his legacy. The litigation team at SSHW will continue this legacy.
