Ella Russell is an associate with Sevila, Saunders, Huddleston, & White, P.C. She earned her J.D. from George Mason University, Antonin Scalia Law School, and her LL.M from American University, Washington College of Law specializing in International Business Transactions. Ms. Russell graduated summa cum laude with her Bachelor of Technology in Legal Studies from State University of New York at Canton and her Bachelor of Arts in International Relations degree from Florida International University. 

Ms. Russell focuses her practice on family and immigration law. When it comes to family law, Ms. Russell believes in helping parties reach common-sense and practical long-term solutions which minimize the need for future litigation. Ms. Russell litigates cases involving divorce, custody and visitation, support, and equitable distribution of property. When it comes to immigration law, Ms. Russell is a first-generation immigrant, and in addition to professional expertise, can offer unique understanding and insight into the struggle that often defines the immigrant experience which fuels her effective advocacy and representation. Ms. Russell is currently licensed in Virginia and Maryland. She is fluent in Bosnian, Croatian, and Serbian, and conversational in Spanish. 

Furthermore, Ms. Russell realizes the importance of working with other attorneys and calling on the power of our profession to do good and be leaders in the community. Ms. Russell became the youngest ever Member of the Board of Directors for Washington Council of Lawyers (WCL) and served as the Co-Chair for the WCL's Mentoring Program in 2022 and 2023. Ms. Russell also actively participates and volunteers in programs run by the Loudoun County chapter of the Virginia Women Attorney’s Association and the Loudoun County Bar Association.
